Don't get me started.....it's too late..

WOW, my premier Blog entry. Actually, I have been authoring a family electronic letter for about ten years, so not new for me, just a new platform. The blog format is merely an opportunity to elevate my thrift store family letter to the prom, a venue where you can get the full tuxedo attire, at Goodwill pricing.

A little about my myself for 1st time readers. I am blessed with a gentle wife to temper my rants and raves. She has tolerated me for nearly 20 years of marriage and definitely put the balance in our relationship. As are our opposing personalities, so go our two sons, one a 15 year old introvert along with his 18 year old brother who is our socialite. All three provided phenomenal fodder for the family letter.

As for a career, I am surrounded by Type A personalites working in a 911 center for a large metropolitan police department. I just celebrated, or rather tolerated, my 17th year of employment last week. This career will skew your vision on people, if you let it. I have let it. For the most part, we spend the day helping those who have failed to help themselves and use law enforcement services as their free, personal guidance center seeking answers for their self-created issues. In a nutshell, the personalities we speak with haven't been 'typed'. They will be an excellent source for blogging.

I will not only use this site to continue to comment on periodic family news, but more notably, to rant about personal pet peeves, hence the name--- PEEVED! First, a little insight as 'peeving' can be misconstrued. Most of my annoyances are influenced by others' inconsiderations and lack of looking outside of their own personal snow globe. We clearly live in a society that is about me, not we. It is about living in the moment to enhance our personal satisication and gain. So, my slant is on critiquing behavior, not individuals. Simply, I will use the keyboard to vent-- alot cheaper than a bondsman.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot- do I have an alternative motive for blogging? The answer will be revealed much later, but worth the wait! Let's get peeving.....
